OK, so my apologies for my recent pitty party. What happens will happen. I am however, giving up Poker for 6 months; i am starting to doubt if I am what is called a Winning Player. Oh, I win, but maybe not enough. For the next 6, every hour i would have spent in a poker room, I will spend in a gym.
I want to matter, so, i have some work to begin, before there is no evidence of me.

You matter more than you realize and that my dear cousin is part of why I think you haven't found a deep happiness yet. YOU MATTER, YOU ARE IMPORTANT, YOU ARE NEEDED and YOU ARE LOVED. . .A LOT!
ReplyDeleteI think the gym thing is a great idea. Even though it is really hard to get motivated and to exercise there are serious happy endorphins released when you do it. I think you will feel a ton better, I know in one of my darkest moments it was exercise that really pulled me out. I just took control of myself and didn't let myself not do it. But, the biggest thing is you have to believe YOU DO MATTER!!! Fat, thin, bald, poker player, guitar player or desk jockey you have infinite worth and value. I know that, not only because I have faith in something higher, but because you matter to me, in my life story there is evidence of you because you had direct influence on what has made me who I am. I love you, don't ever forget that!
Yeah Songie, you tell him!
ReplyDeleteGym is a good idea. I work out every day (not that you could tell from looking at me - but it's true) and I don't go to the gym ever (again - maybe that's part of the visual problem). But I do want to offer you the alternatives as well because I have never found a hip, fun-to-be-in or inspired gym....
I walk an hour a day with the girl - that's not exercise, that's mental time: On top of that, I jog, I use an eliptical at home, I hike with my girl, I lift weights in front of bad tv, I do floor routines, sit ups, push-ups (that's right - I do push-ups), butt-ups, things off the ball, things off the f-ing bosu ball, squats, lunges, etc - all without the gym and in the comfort of my own home.
Do you watch tv? Awesome time to work-out.
I love you man.
